Routines
Part of the Chinese
classroom culture is to pay one’s respect to the teacher. To practice this custom,
one student will be assigned the role of class leader, “班长”, before class begins. The role of 班长 is to give instructions to his/her peers at
the beginning and the end of the class.
Responsibilities of 班长／長
1.Start and end class routine
2.Help Ms. Chuang
and classmates
3.Make sure the chairs are pushed,
the floor is clean and the class is in order
4.Mindful: remind classmates when
needed.
